Joint meeting of the International Center on Qanats and Historic Hydraulic Structures and the Science and Art University

A joint meeting between the International Center on Qanats and Historic Hydraulic Structures and the Science and Art University was held to discuss potential research collaborations.

On September 15, 2024, an official meeting was held with the esteemed President of the College of Science and Arts, Dr. Talebi, and the President of the International Center for Qanats and Historic Hydraulic Structures, Dr. Javadian Zadeh. The aim of this meeting was to explore and expand research and educational collaborations between the two institutions, utilizing their respective scientific and professional capacities in the field of qanats and historical hydraulic structures. Faculty members from the Departments of Architecture, Art and Tourism of the College of Science and Art were also present.
During the meeting, both parties emphasized the importance of joint cooperation in the field of qanats and historic hydraulic structures. They agreed to draw up a comprehensive memorandum of understanding on this topic. In addition, it was decided to form a joint committee of representatives from both institutions to develop and implement joint programs. One of the most important proposals discussed at the meeting was the use of the Yazd Water Museum for the training of architecture and art students. Based on the agreements reached, the cooperation between the International Center on Qanats and Historic Hydraulic Structures and the College of Science and Art in the areas of research and teaching in the field of qanats and historic hydraulic structures will enter a new phase.
